Monday, March 6, 2017 – House and Senate Action on Revenue and Early Childhood Ed?
Monday, March 6, 2017 – House and Senate Meet in Full Floor Session today and in Committee Meetings.
They are ‘burning daylight’ at the Roundhouse – or maybe a better metaphor would be spinning their wheels.
The 2017, Sixty Day Legislative Session in now in its last two weeks and house and senate members are still trying to create a budget, new revenue, and deal with economic development. It seems a squandering of precious time has not been a concern for leadership of either branch.
The really sad thing is they could still have a productive session, but the Democrats seem bogged down with a few members holding silly positions for opposing important reform, not to mention using their political capital to advance their own agenda.
Not what they promised people when they said they would do great things if they got the House back.
So here are a few of the many items on schedules for today
