Ooops … Friday, March 10, 2017: Roundhouse Happenings (or not) for today.

Friday, March 10, 2017: Roundhouse Happenings (or not) for today.

The Candle has been checking throughout the night and very early morning to get access to the on-line legislative committee schedules and floor calendars.

But the system has been down all this time – up to this posting.

The image accompanying this post is all we get …

So we are kind of operating off of memory right now, and maybe the website will pop up this morning

There are floor sessions this morning for both the House and Senate -likely at 11:00 AM in each chamber.

There are committee hearings.

The Senate Finance Committee is about to have a big day … they are scheduled to formally announce and release their version of the budget for FY 2018, along with revenue proposals to fund it. Not sure of the time, although it will likely be in Room 322.

The Candle is aware of two other hearings that might be of interest (although there will be many we are sure):

The House Health & Human Services Committee WILL hearing House Bill 398,the alcohol taxes bill this morning @ 8:30 AM in Room 315. It’s first on the agenda.

P3’s pop up again:

HB 534, another the P3 Bill brought back, is due to be heard on Friday at the House Labor and Economic Development Committee. That committee typically meets in the afternoon around 1:30 PM, in Room 315.

But better keep checking the legislative main website link for other matters (it will get fixed for sure):
