SANTA FE – The Human Services Department (HSD) is conducting a series of Rapid Hire events across the state to find dedicated New Mexicans who want to help others in need, and find purposeful meaning in a job. In partnership with the Department of Workforce Solutions, HSD’s next hiring event is scheduled tomorrow, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the following sites.
- Albuquerque: 501 Mountain Road
- Carlsbad: 323 S. Halagueno
- Gallup: 2918 East Highway 66
- Las Vegas: 833 Grand Ave
- Los Lunas: 428 S. Los Lentes Rd. SE
- Taos: 1036 Salazar Road
“Come work for a department that helps over 1 million New Mexicans improve their lives by providing services and benefits through several programs like the Medicaid Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Support Program, and several Behavioral Health Services,” said David R. Scrase, M.D. cabinet secretary for the New Mexico Human Services Department.
Qualified applicants interested in working at the Income Support Division will be interviewed on-site or virtually by HSD staff. Job opportunities will be offered the same day or shortly after. Applicants are encouraged to bring the following items:
- Multiple copies of an updated resume
- Equipment operator endorsements (if any)
- Three professional references
- Proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Copy of unofficial transcripts for highest level of education achieved
- Dress for success
