Jared Hembree Announces Resignation from New Mexico House of Representatives

Santa Fe, NM- State Representative Jared Hembree (R-Chaves) has announced his resignation from the New Mexico State House of Representatives due to unforeseen health-related circumstances that require immediate attention. 

“It is with a heavy heart that I step down from the State Legislature,” said Representative Hembree. “Serving the people of my district has been a profound honor. My family and I believe in Chaves County, and we must prioritize my health to ensure we can serve in good faith in the future.”

This heartfelt statement reflects Representative Hembree’s deep commitment to his constituents and the community, as well as the difficult decision he and his family have made for his health and well-being. 

Mr. and Mrs. Hembree expressed their gratitude to the constituents of the district and people throughout the State for their unwavering support and commitment. Jared is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition and has committed to working closely with House Republican leadership to maintain seamless representation for the district.
